Possible Uses of Tadalafil This medicine is a phosphodiesterase inhibitor used to treat erectile dysfunction ( ED). Following sexual stimulation Tadalafil tablet works by helping the blood vessels in your penis to relax, allowing the flow of blood into your penis. The result of this is improved erectile function. Tadalafil will not help you if you do not have erectile dysfunction.
Tadalafil preparations Some medicines or medical conditions may interact with this medicine. INFORM YOUR DOCTOR OR PHARMACIST of all prescription and over-the-counter medicine that you are taking. DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE if you are also taking or using nitroglycerin or other nitrates in any form. ADDITIONAL MONITORING OF YOUR DOSE OR CONDITION may be needed if you are taking cimetidine, erythromycin, ketoconazole, itraconazole, mibefradil, or an HIV protease inhibitor. Inform your doctor of any other medical conditions or allergies. USE OF THIS MEDICINE IS NOT RECOMMENDED if you have a history of heart conditions, high or low blood pressure, stroke, or retinitis pigmentosa. Contact your doctor or pharmacist if you have any questions or concerns about taking this medicine.
How to take Tadalafil Always take Tadalafil exactly as your doctor has instructed you. You should check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure. The recommended starting dose is one 10 mg tablet before sexual activity. If the effect of this dose is too weak your doctor may increase the dose to 20 mg. Tedalafil tablets are for oral use. Swallow the tablet whole with some water. You may take Tadalafil with or without food.
Tadalafil can be taken at any point of time from 30 minutes to 12 hours before sexual activity.Tadalafil may still be effective up to 24 hours after taking the tablet. It is important to note that Tadalafil does not work if there is no sexual stimulation. You and your partner will need to engage in foreplay, just as you would if you were not taking a medicine for erectile dysfunction.
Tadalafil precautions DO NOT EXCEED THE RECOMMENDED DOSE without checking with your doctor. DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE MORE THAN once a day. DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU TAKE OR USE NITROGLYCERIN, including nitroglycerin tablets, patches, or ointment, OR OTHER NITRATES, such as isosorbide. If you are not sure whether a certain medicine is a nitrate, contact your doctor or pharmacist. USE OF THIS MEDICINE WILL NOT PREVENT the spread of sexually transmitted diseases ( STDs), including human immunodeficiency virus ( HIV). BEFORE YOU BEGIN TAKING ANY NEW MEDICINE, either prescription or over-the-counter, check with your doctor or pharmacist.
Tadalafil side effects SIDE EFFECTS that may occur while taking this medicine include headache, flushing, upset stomach, stuffy nose, diarrhea, blurred vision, changes in blue or green vision, or increased light sensitivity. If they continue or are bothersome, check with your doctor. CHECK WITH YOUR DOCTOR AS SOON AS POSSIBLE if you experience prolonged abnormal, painful erections. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist.
Tadalafil interactions Drug interactions can result in unwanted side effects or prevent a medicine from doing its job.Inform your doctor about all the medicines you take with and without a prescription.

KEEP THIS MEDICINE out of the reach of children. IF USING THIS MEDICINE FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF TIME, obtain refills before your supply runs out.
